MAXK GROUP is proud to have contributed to the Green & Clean Campus project, a student’s organization from Royal University of Phnom Penh which helped a primary school in Mondulkiri province to improve and promote health and learning by creating a better environment through green and clean practices.

After several months of preparation ahead, the students went to Mondulkiri from 23 to 26 February to meet children and establish some actions. Their objectives were to promote green and clean campus with friendly learning environment and raise awareness for teachers and students on sustainable development.

What they implemented are the removal of all wastes on the campus, the installation of ten rubbish-bins, the renovation of classrooms and toilet, the creation of organic gardens, planting trees and the design spaces for compost and inorganic wastes.

During two days, they also provided training to teachers and children concerning: impacts of unclean environment, waste management, create organic gardens and make natural fertilizer, how to plant trees and take care about vegetation.
